I've got three.
You need me to do the math for you or can you figure out just how much combat time I have?
No I haven't spun anywhere in this thread.
Project much?

Told you the other day that I also busted wannabes and you laughed it off and asked if you should be impressed. I replied; maybe later.
I also posted enough information about myself that any reasonable reader might have understood that I know what I'm talking about and can back it up.
Rather than being snide, you should have been wary.
I view your use of the word "combat" so often as an attempt to convince readers that "you" served in "combat" rather than in a combat theater. Initially calling the Overseas Service Bars, "three combat service bars" was deceptive. I think your phrasing was designed to portray yourself as having spent 18 months in combat, when, in fact, every Army member serving in the theater qualifies for an Overseas Service Bar for every six months spent in the theater, regardless of duties. The folks in the Band qualify, as do Doctors and Nurses in the hospitals.
Your MIlitary Occupation Specialy (MOS) is 46R10.
46R--Broadcast Journalist
The broadcast journalist participates in or supervises the operation of radio or television broadcast section, team, detachment, or Armed Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS) Network affiliate or comparable broadcast activity.

(I copied the above from
http://usmilitary.about.com/od/enlistedjobs/a/46r.htm
rather than from Army documents describing the structure of CMF 46 in the interest of brevity)
Your job description (regardless of suffixes(additional skill identifiers)) doesn't include "combat".
The entire CMF 46 field doesn't include a "combat" or even a combat support job.
CMF 46 PUBLIC AFFAIRS: This Career Management Field contains three MOS that are used for public affairs Army-wide.
46Q JOURNALIST
46R BROADCAST JOURNALIST
46Z PUBLIC AFFAIRS CHIEF
A 46Q might have been in the field with a unit that got into a sticky situation.
A journalist participates in and assists with the supervision of the administration of Army public affairs programs, primarily through writing and photographing the Army’s activities, for use in the internal and external news media.(excerpted from multiple sources), but not a 46R.
So tell me again all about the "combat" you've seen. Getting a bruise at the PX fighting for one of the new cameras, or DVD players doesn't count.
Wrapping yourself in a flag and regaling the 'net with visions of tx in "combat" is lower than low.
You are taking honor from those who earned the right to speak of it and now I'll speak for those veterans of forgotten wars and for thosewhose names are already inscribed on the Wall and for those whose names
will be inscribed on an appropriate memorial.
You are a wannabe and have no right for recognition you have not earned.
I don't care if you write a work of fiction telling the the tale of a hero figure "knee deep in grenade rings", but I object to you collecting honors meant for others.
You see, I recognize the symtoms.
You should have been proud of the work you do. It's a valuable and worthwhile job when done properly. You need not apoligize for it, nor does anyone who served.
If you're a cook, so state. No need to embelish it. If you were a cook assigned to the Divisision band, great.
But, if you were a cook "in the rear with the gear" and start telling stories of "hand to gland" "combat", rest assured, there will be someone like me to challenge it.
And when challenged, a wannabe will often attempt to validate his lies with bluster.
When a pig glues on feathers and attemts to fly with the eagles he often forgets; a real eagle knows how to avoid jet intakes.
You and your enablers here can buy a factory and produce all the lipstick you want, smear it all over you, but in the end you're still a pig.
For those of you interested in phonies and how to spot them, POW Network at
http://www.pownetwork.org/phonies/phonies.htm is a good place to start.
I was also interested in your reaction to LindaSOG's post admitting she was the posted the porn ot FR and not CP.
You couldn't admit you lied or were speaking from talking points so you decided it was other porn and lied again.
You're a fool, and can't recognize you're invalidating your arguments.
BTW, LindaSOG, you were before my time, so you don't have a clue who I am, but I'd like to tell you I appreciate you coming over here to post that admission; regardless of whatever grief you may get for it, it showed a sense of honor (standing up for your actions 'nat)...I respect that.
in closing I'll repost something I put up at CP the other day for you to ponder:
Say tx, I kind of glossed over this statement you made the other night on the CU thread as I took it as an attempt to insult only me:
"I know it doesn't take much of a GT score to qualify as an 11B but c'mon."
http://www.conservativeunderground.c...t=71634&page=8
How would you like to stand up in the presence of the members of "The Old Guard", an Infantry Regiment...bunch of 11Bs, some of whom are veterans of combat and imply they are stupid or of lesser intelligence than you.
That's what you did when you posted that comment for the whole internet to see.
Pretty rash statement coming from a member of the Public Affairs Office, and not really supportive of the troops IMO. How do you think they would react to that?
On a personal level, they might be more than a little upset.
On a professional level, they might be concerned that a member of the office charged with the responsibility of publicizing their efforts doesn't seem to think much of their mental abilities.
Knowing you probably spent a little time bragging about your internet warrior persona, my guess is you've told one or more of them about what you’re doing, or maybe you told someone in your office about this and they are going read this post or figure out what you implied over at CU.
Better hope they laugh it off.
You really are a worthless mook.
