Tx- the wrong doing that has been done is that Proud Patriots does not seem to be legal to collect funds over the Internet for any charity or cause.

If they are then please provide a link, or contact info to a federal agency or state agency which gives them authority to collect funds for care packages for troops over the internet, on the Canteen thread at FR- at this very moment.

Currently applying for tax exempt status with the IRS- does not cut it. Why not take the time to prove us wrong with proof. Then you will be the victor and all of this will be over.

That is all anyone has ever asked. AND-Yes, it is legal to ask those questions and to be suspicious when those very questions are met with bannings, threats, smearing and name calling.

I realize that to you, Tonkin, Jim Robinson, the Proud Patriot members and the Canteen posters~ I am lower than *nobody*.. yall dont like me. I understand that you think I am terrible and horrible. I spent money on care packages for people whose names were provided to me by Kathy in Alaska- a number of times. I spent money, energy and time on threads for the Canteen, which drew large numbers of people, did I recruit any new donors for Proud Patriots...... I want to know and I have a right to know.

It is not an attack to ask these questions-no matter what names you want to call me or how you want to present this- it is a question for Proud Patriots leaders to answer.

And where does any org that collects money from people to get things for others get off telling folks that they have to have an approved motive for asking before they'll honor pertinent questions with a response?

What facts? All of us have yet to see anything stipulated in any legal medium or presented by PP itself that PP now and always has had the legal right to solicit funds for their project. Those are the only facts that matter at the moment, as far as I'm concerned.

I am not a member of CP, CP is not an organization putting out a kitty jar to the public for their work, and the organization you support would appear to be using you as a buffer so they will not have to answer questions themselves.

Hey Merc- I was on the ping list for the tub girl spamming thing that Tx is talking about. Interesting that JimRob told me himself he *had no idea* who it was and I was *more than free to look around and try to figure it out* and he would like to know what I found out*. I was furious to be on that ping list and I looked all over the internet to see what I could find out. I found out....... Nothing. SO if tx knows who it was- I would like to know as well- I have someting personal to say to the Tub Girl poster.

First of all, how do you know an apology was not forthcoming? Just because you didn't see it? Perhaps Merc, the people you think I "punked" think otherwise, and perhaps they think that way because they saw things that you did not.

Perhaps they are still my friends for a reason? And before you get carried away on this issue, I am not talking close friends or anything, but they certainly don't feel wronged by me.

Before you get the wrong impression, there are some canteeners that I do not speak to and who likely spit everytime they hear my name. But, they don't do that for the reasons you think they do. Like I said, you just don't know.

And if the canteeners who don't talk to me knew about the canteeners who do talk to me, well, I think my "friends" would be kicked out the canteen. So forgive me for not naming names.

And, before you get carried away, I haven't "talked" to TxRadioGuy in months and months, and, not many times at all since I was banned. Still, as I said, he has never done anything to harm me and I consider him an internet friend. Don't make any more out of that then what you see right here.

I don't run in a pack and I don't know the whole line-up of characters at either site, so I really couldn't say.

But here I am with my FReeper name, which I have used continuously for well over seven years at FR, LP, and other political message boards. No personal axe to grind with anyone, no affiliation with CP, just an average member on LP.

So if you really don't have an answer to my simple questions, why don't you just say so? If you don't, however, you should reconsider that you are not by any stretch an appropriate spokesperson or cheerleader for PP. If they choose to have someone who stonewalls for them with accusations and vulgarities rather than provide the information, that says an awful lot about them...and it isn't good.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

Obviously you get a lot a slack here.

The issue that you started, it would seem, is that PP is completely above board because you should know, you benefitted from it, and screw the bastards who ask for facts.
