DBR can you answer this...since you seem incapable of addressing the other questions I've asked you?

1. Were you actually involved in Proud Patriots or not? You’ve stated earlier about your *participation/involvement* with them. Yet, you’ve told people that you weren’t invited to join. Which is it?

2. Since you also purchased a webspace at NoMonthlyFees.com, you would then know that anytime you refer someone there that you receive a free webspace. You can do whatever you want with it. Also, when you renew you also receive a free webspace. Since most of the webspaces purchased can be traced via credit cards of the individuals, where is your proof that Proud Patriots bought those spaces? You continue to make allegations that you cannot back up.

3. The refrigerator and new computer were purchased by Canteeners before Proud Patriots began. You know that, but keep insisting that Proud Patriots did that. Again, credit card statements from those individuals can support that. Yet again, you continue to make allegations that you cannot back up.

4. If you’ve called the FBI and FTC and passed along information such as those I detailed above, you have committed a federal crime knowingly accusing an organization or individuals without proof.

Proud Patriots has been soliciting over the internet since its "inception" and it has been soliciting in print as well, in states other than Virginia. There have been newspaper articles and of course, over a year's worth posts in the canteen that evidence that. There have been posts in other places on the internet as well. This is a fact and it cannot be denied.

Now Caro claims that a clerk in the Commonwealth told her she could solicit anywhere and everywhere in the United States even if the corporation she used to do so has lost its status as a corporation. That's amazing because The Code of Virginia laws regarding Charitable solicitations says otherwise.

The Code of Virginia laws defines "Solicit" and "solicitation" as the request or appeal, directly or indirectly, for any contribution on the plea or representation that such contribution will be used for a charitable purpose.

It does not appear that Proud Patriots complied with this law TX, not in the State of Virginia nor any other state where they have solicited. Would you be surprised to find out that a solicitation of this kind over the internet is deemed to be a solicitation in every state? And that a solicitation in any state requires a similar registration?

Guess what's supposed to be included in the registration?

Run on over the Commonwealth's Charity database and plug in the name Proud Patriots. I'll make it easy for you, here's a link. Under Registration Filing Status, it says "not currently filed to solicit" and the sad fact is that they have never filed to solicit, yet, they have been soliciting for years.

Solicitation without registration would be... um.... yeah, against the law. hmmm... against the law... what other word might apply... ummm... wait!! OMG!!! What about illegal! Does illegal mean against the law? Yes, I'm afraid it does. According to websters, illegal means not according to or authorized by law.

Got news for you dude, its not libel to say that Proud Patriots has been soliciting illegally, when they have been soliciting illegally. And make no mistake here, they have been soliciting illegally not only in Virginia but in each and every state.

Before you go spouting off about libel and slander and all that other shit TX, you best get your facts straight. You might avoid making a fool out of yourself in the future.

Sorry Jumpserve- I am sure that you are a fantastic gal- but the money is from CP members, for our wounded troops at Walter Reed and for tx to answer some of their questions. :] But comeone over if you want to! I think after the money or items are donated you could call Walter Reed and verrify if the donations were made. Good question- always know where the money goes when people are talking about donations for troops.

Was I involved in Proud Patriots. I dunno. I offered suggestions for them on pen pals for children of deployed troops. I posted on the canteen for a number of years. I have sent out prolly 80 care packages and gift certificates- some to people I got info on from Kathy in alaska. My birthday was on their calendar until they took all the birthdays down and when I asked Tonk what my status was- I was banned from FR and given no answer. Both the FBI and the FTC have mentioned that they thought I was a victim of Proud Patriots instead of participant. I told them everything and asked for advice on getting a lawyer.
I was never offered any free webspaces to hand out by nomnthly fees.

No-I dont know for sure- where the money came from for Trussells TV or refridge- I was told Kathy in alaska-that is what I posted at CP. And no, it happened after Proud Patriots.

The FBI and the FTC glady accepted all my information. I told them everything I knew and asked for advice and the FTC took my info and gave me a case number the FBI directed me to a website and asked me to fill out the info and send it in. SO I did.

I have not lied about anything tx... I have committed no crime. If I have then call the FBI and the FTC and anyone else and turn me in.

Again Caro and Star have my info. I am not hiding.

I'm not talking about what you believe, I'm talking about what can be proved.

It's not about you.....it's not about attacking the troops....it's about supporting the troops..,.making sure that the troops get what was/is intended for them.

I have already posted, on the thread at CP that PP has, in fact, sent packages to troops overseas.

I verified that independantly, and you and MikefFromOhio have also confirmed it. I accept that at face value.

Thing is, this whole thing began when CP asked questions about finances and financial transparency....since that time, CP has discovered some things that appear to be somewhat irregular.

Since then all we've seen is a bunch of foot stompin' temper tantrums.

No matter how anyone wants to view it, it still boils down to:

a) How much money/items came in
b) What funds were spent on administrative costs
c) How much/what did the troops recieve

That's it. Any organization claiming to provide any benefit to any group or individual ought to be able to answer those questions without reservation.

Come on over, but I would suggest you be prepared to provide links to refute any items the Posse might bring up. We even made it easy...all the questions are on the thread.

To make it clear; PP came to us....we didn't seek it out. The questions were raised there; there is where the question should be answered.

Bring Tonk with you; his idea to bring it up. Between the two of you you should be able to put to rest any suspicions about PP, right?
